We have today launched our new manifesto for 2024 which sets out our promises for the coming municipal year and beyond.

We have made huge strides over the past 2 years, which is demonstrated by the Government lifting intervention and praising the leadership of the council, but there is still work to be done.

We are proud to be Sandwell, and we want Sandwell to be a place that people are proud to call home, where people thrive and have the best possible opportunities. In addition to our manifesto pledges for 2024, we have also made a number of additional commitments through the 2024/25 budget.

It also sets out how we have delivered against the promises we made this time last year in the 2023 Manifesto.

We will also continue delivering on our medium and long-term objectives around the climate change agenda, school building programmes, tree planting, active communities, house building and attracting investment for regeneration.
